...under the Christmas tree.
I'm excited for Christmas.
I'm excited that Lily is excited for Christmas.
I'm excited to be going home in a few days.
I'm excited to catch up on missed time away from my family.
I'm excited to watch Lily open her presents on Christmas morning.
I'm excited for delicious holiday meals.
And holiday treats.
And more holiday treats.
...this baby likes him some sweets.
Funny story.
Yesterday we were driving in the car
and Lily kept saying "mommy help me. mommy help me."
I turned around and she had something on her fingers.
I asked her what it was and she said "help me. spiders."
I took whatever was in her hand and looked closer.
I asked her where it came from.
she said "my nose."
black fuzz. mixed with boogers.
To her credit, it did look like a spider. kind of.
I told her it was boogers.
"spider boogers," she said.

The joys of motherhood and endless bodily fluids (if boogers count as fluid - bodily sticky gross stuff, maybe?). But a lot of things are more fun with kids.
